Who is a Lablaban?

A lablaban is someone who talks and talks. Like my grandaughter Roxanne is a lablaban. Since she was little she was a lablaban. Talking and talking and talking. She swallowed a radio. But I love her.

French literature

When I was in Baghdad, the school was Alliance Israelite. In this school I learned some french, some english, a little bit, but mostly in arabic. My grandfather taught me a little bit hebrew, like for passover, haggadah, what we read, things like that. So then when I moved to Iran, I wasn't married, so I went to the American school, it was in english, and I liked the french language, so I went to the convent to learn, it was the only place. There were only two Jewish students. We learned french there. But they didn't mind that we didn't say their prayers, they respected that. But most of my french I learned from there, a little bit of science, geography, algebra, and literature, we read Maurice Dumas. There was a very nice lady, a nun, so beautiful, not blonde but so beautiful. Her name was Marie-Joseph. We used to say what a shame she became a nun, praying and praying. She taught us literature. I went one year and the next year I got married. I was sad, I wanted to stay. And the next year Terry came.
