Who is a Lablaban?
A lablaban is someone who talks and talks. Like my grandaughter Roxanne is a lablaban. Since she was little she was a lablaban. Talking and talking and talking. She swallowed a radio. But I love her.

Sollie's daughter Roxanne is very sweet.
Today I saw Roxanne, Sollie's daughter, she told me she's my friend on bookface and she reads this blog! I told her I'm so happy to have a friend like you. She's so sweet this Roxanne, sollie's daughter Roxanne.
Stacy and his friend were here.
I spent time with Stacy and his friend, I had a wonderful time with them. He's very nice, very easy, and I made supper for them, I went to Miami Beach with them one night, Miami South Beach. And we walked that street of the restaurants, the waitresses they stand at the door and they try to attract you. We had dinner and they had pasta and i had piece of fish. i like the fresh air. and after dinner we went to have something sweet. We had sherbet, it was something sweet. We had pistachio flavor and chocolate.
The club next door.

Right next door there is like a club, it's called the Ocean Manor, it's a public club. They have music and drinking, it's very nice. Lisa is going tonight with Jon, they want to go. It's outside, they have you know, outdoor, a shack, it's a nice place. They serve drinks and we can spend all day, and the pool is better than mine, what we have at my place. You can sit on the long chairs on the beach. I have some people there from our community, they're staying there for a while.
In the old days, the 60s and the 70s, we used to go, with Grandpa, and Haim, we'd stay there. And they would play the backgammon, laughing and joking and sitting in their bathing suits, everyone would go to the Ocean Manor. And they would bid on the backgammon, and drink, more and more money.
It's been a long time.
It's been a while since I did my blog, it's because I'm in Florida, and I don't get the chance to work on the computer. But I'm having so much fun, really. I'm having a good time, I'm having a good company with Lisa and Jon and we went to see Haim, and we're going to watch the wedding movie, really we're having a good time. The weather is nice. Nice place and nice weather. Sollie is here with his three children, he came yesterday. They're having fun in the ocean, the weather is very mild, people are going to the pool, to the beach. Beautiful.

They have Chabad here
Here they have Chabad. We were there at their synagogue across from us. We went one block. I said, "can I have a Jewish calendar?" He said "sure, yes. Tomorrow night we're having a hanukkah party are you coming?" I said "yes, of course." So we went and there was food, they have so much money, don't ask. You know who supports them? a lot of Iraqi people, they give them money.
I saw the rabbi from there yesterday and he was praying and praying. Vera said, "look at them, this is what they do, they pray and pray."

Florida
So now I'm in Florida, I'm staying in the same place as last year, this time one bedroom, last year it was two bedrooms. Stacy is going to come with his friend, Andre. First he's going to Miaimi, I don't know where, he's staying in a hotel. Then he's coming to me. We have a pull out bed and a cot so they can both stay.
When we got to the apartment there was everything, a small refrigerator, and everything you want, but no phone. So Vera had the idea to buy a phone. So we went to Wallgreen and we got a phone. You know how much we paid? You'll never guess, it was so cheap. I told Carlie and he whistled, "whooooooo."
And Vera is eating is eating so much, she eats and she eats lots of fish. You know what kind of fish? Hallapie. Or tillapie. Something like that. It's a white fish, and thin. And she eats potato, and salad. She's eating all the time.

Russian ballet
Nobody does ballet like these Russian people. They teach them. They are number one. They are the best at ballet. I think i have seen it in Iran once with Grandpa. I was amazed, they are amazing these ballerinas.
Justin's birthday
Justin's Birthday is coming, the 27. He's the son of Ezy. The bum didn't call me, my son. Evey Sunday he calls me. Last Sunday he didn't call. Probably he's busy with Thanksgiving.

Melissa's engagement
It's Melissa's engagement tomorrow night. She's the granddaughter of my friend Mavis. They're making a big deal about it. The other one, Caroline she got married, she had a little daughter and twin boys. So she's coming for her sister's engagement from Ottawa, and Mavis is happy, she'll be there for sure. Terry is supposed to pick me up and take me. There will probably be a belly dancer and this and that. So I'll let you know about the engagement.
We had a meeting in the building
Last night we had a meeting in the building, for the condo, like. They discussed the elevator and the money and expenses, this and that. There are two people we want to vote for to be in the committee, because the one that was there before she's quitting, she's resigning. She was there four years. I'm wondering really who to vote for. There's one that was a social worker and she's very good and she's been places and this and that but she says she's not very good with numbers. And the other is a boy Stacy's age, he has a girlfriend, they live in the condo and he wants to be elected also. He says he works at Merrill Lynch and he knows numbers and he's economical so he can do very well for us. They have a manager, an accountant, and engineer, and another one that takes of everything that is broken in the building, the elevator, the heater, whatever. And there is an accountant. I think I might vote for the boy, I talked to him about the stocks. I think he's good, he's French Canadian and she's also French Canadian, the other one that wants to be elected. We also had wine and cheese and the meeting.
Happy Birthday to Carlie
About Carlie's birthday, I'm all excited. I wish I was there to celebrate with him. I love him and I really miss him. He's funny and he makes me feel good. He's relaxed, he's good, and he's capable. he's very handy. He built a cupboard in his closet, I always remember it, how it was, and how it became.

Obama and Brad Pitt
This Brad Pitt, he volunteered to help Obama in his campaign but they refused him. They're worried that Obama will look too Hollywood, because he has Clooney and I don't know who else. They don't want people to think he's stuck up.
I have seen Obama with Oprah. I have seen him with his wife. He's humble, he's nice. But I don't know, I'm not in it. No ones knows who is going to be president.

Seinfeld
I don't know about this Seinfeld, he's in the newspaper, they were criticizing his movie with the bees. This critic in the Gazette says he wasted his time making this movie. I don't know, I didn't see it. But the newspaper is full of his picture and the bees. It's his voice that they used. A big picture of the the bees, one, two, three, four of them talking, dancing, I don't know.
I think he's a great comedian, I don't know about this movie, but I like his show, I used to like it. With his friends and the other one, Kramer. And the bald one was funny also. I don't remember all the names, but it was very funny.

Julie Lequin
Julie Lequin is French Canadian and now she picked up the English and she studied in Los Angeles. It's a great thing and she's very smart. She is an artist, I have seen her in Montreal and she came to visit me. She's from a small town in Quebec and it's a great thing that she's doing. She made it on her own and her parents should be proud of her. And she's funny.
She makes very interesting videos. It's interesting to read her blog, it's nice and interesting to read it. I'm amazed really, she must be very bright, to pick up the English and go and study there. Culture, culture she picks up culture. Her parents should be proud of her.
I'm happy that she appreciates my blog and she likes it. If you want to see her blog it's here

Kebaaaaab
I want a kebaaaaab when Carlie comes to Florida. Or maybe for a change I'll take him for a kebaaaaab. Maybe I'll make him one at home. OK.
I'm busy these days
What was in Access Hollywood? There was Paris again, I don't know what she was doing. And Britney, Britney Spears. I don't know.
Well, I'm busy these days, I have things. I have telephone calls and I'm running around. I don't have time for Paris.

Stevie Wonder
We had Stevie Wonder in Montreal. The audience was full and this and that. Everybody likes him here, I'm not so familiar with his songs, but I think he's good. They tell me he's good.
Roxy might come visit me in Florida
Well I'm going to Florida, it's almost arranged. I got an apartment there for a few weeks. I think Roxy is arranging to come and them from there for a few days to go to Los Angeles. All her cousins will be there. I want her to come when Carlie or Stacy is there, she'll have more fun. I didn't speak to Roxy but I heard from Vera that she's planning to come and then go to Los Angeles.

I walked at Lisa's wedding

Lisa just put up the pictures from her wedding on bookface. I was so proud to walk at Lisa's wedding, I didn't have in mind to walk, so I said I want to walk with Josh and Justin, this is a nice way to walk. And the lady told us how to walk like this, with flowers, so here is a picture from it. From bookface.
Lilo is still in rehab?
What about Lilo, Lohan, she's still in the hostipal, in rehab? I don't know, such a nice good actress it seems, they drink, the poor things, they're addicted. Her and Paris. they don't know what to do with themselves. You know why? The money. It's bad for them. Big shots.
George Clooney had an accident on his motorcycle
Look at George Clooney,he had an accident on his motorcycle. He was riding his motorcycle with his girlfriend, with his companion, and a car hit him. And he was in the hospital, and some of the workers they snooped in his charter, his chart. So
the hospital arrested all of the workers, there were 90 of them or something and they didn't pay them. And George Clooney, he said he didn't like that, that they punished them, even though they snooped, they should still pay them.
But he's out now and he started a movie, it seems. The girls are after him, he is older and he still can get a nice girl. But Carlie shouldn't go that long.

Roxy called me this morning
This morning, early in the morning, who called me? Roxy. She's on her way to work. "Oh hi Gramma, how are you?" She's going to Chicago this weekend to Lisa. Darya is going to be there too. She works hard, Roxy. She works and she studies. And there is a long weekend, here it's Thanksgiving, in the US it's Columbus Day.

Poor Britney Spears
She's lost, chaibi. They took her children, they didn't give her custody. They gave it to Kevin Federlee, her ex-husband. Is she crazy? I don't know. It's very hard to be without your children, they should let her have them sometimes. She started very young and she got popular very fast. It's no good. Now she's lost. Between her directors and the people that advise her.
Simchat Torah party
They have a big party tonight at the Sha'ar for Simhat Torah but I'm not going, I don't like the hosa. For purim they do a big thing also. But this is life.
At the Spanish they dance and they get drunk, the rabbi, the cantor, and all the religious ones. They start with food, food, they pass around a lot of food. And they drink until they don't know what they are doing. And in Hampstead they go from Baily to Adath Torah. On the street they dance and they sing. And back in Baghdad? On the street. Yes. And they say it's a mitzvah. How do you like that?

A song in the sukkah
The Iraqi people they sing a song in the sukkah, it goes "sukkah weh lulav..." like that. We used to hear it in Baghdad. Before the Sukkoth, they would sell the palms and the rest of the things on the street. They used to sell them like Christmas trees.
This new rabbi at the Spanish, he's from New York, it's the first year for him. When they were singing this song, he was looking around and laughing, he didn't know where they were reading from. He asked Abitan and Yacoob and Anwar, they brought small books between them that are special for the sukka, i don't know. After every verse they sing, "sukkah weh lulav."
I asked the rabbi, "how do you like it here?" He said "it's different but I love it."
In Baghdad they had the decorations and the drapes in the sukkah that were are all white and embroidered. Because it's summertime there and everything is white.
I'm going to ask Yacoob for one of the books, because I don't know the whole song.

There have been over 1000 people on my blog! Now I'm popular. Maybe I should celebrate. Every thousand we should celebrate. All the people who read my blog I love you all.
I am in Canada and my blog is going up and my Canadian dollar is going up. What do think about that? Maybe we should celebrate.

Yom Kippur
For the Kippur I will invite Haim to break the fast and I will make almond milk, and djraduk. Terry will be there and we will break the fast together. I have to prepare.
Rosh Hashannah
Oh my gosh, Rosh Hashannah was so nice and I was so busy. All the brachoth, and Ezy's friend from school came. And he's gay and he brought his partner. And they adopted a son of 10 years old and Ezy said I want to see his son also. And they came and visited me before they went to the restaurant. He was very familiar to me and my husband and the whole family. He came over, him and his partner and the boy and a doggie, a little dog. And the dog started barking and the boy was running after him in the kitchen and around the house.
And we sat down and had some tea with them and the little boy. It seems a hard time to take care of him, it's hard. but they say it's nice and it made them happy. The boy is very nice.
So now they're roaming around now and having a vacation, they're going to California and they will visit Ezy in Portland.

Borax and the Cheese
When I was with Carlie in San Francisco he showed me the DVD of Borax that was very funny with the cheese. He showed the guy in the supermarket the cheese and he said, "What is this" and the guy showed him all the cheese. He kept saying, "that's cheese, that's cheese." "And this one?" "That's also cheese." The poor guy, he couldn't get rid of him, he kept asking about the cheese. Then when I went to Stacy I told him I liked that one with the cheese and we watched it again. Then we saw it again with Roxy. "What is this? Is it wood?" "It's cheese."

Montreal bagels
In Montreal, they have bagels, people come to eat the bagels. Why are they so famous? People come here and they go to Moshe and they buy bagels. It's not such a big deal. I don't think they are fantastic, what's good about it? When they're hot they smell good. They taste good when they're fresh. I guess they're good.

We visited Stacy's friends in New York
One night when I was in New York, the second night I came to Stacy he was invited to one of his friends, Jeet and Amarna, they are Indian. They live out of town a little bit, They were so hospitable. They served us so much food, it was very good, they made 5 or 6 kinds of food and the rice. And we brought them some wine, and we were all drinking it.
For desert, they served blueberries and strawberries and ice cream she served. And we were drinking wine all the time.
I asked her, "do you wear saris in the US?" She said she has a lot of them but she never wears them. She brought me a few she was showing me, so beautiful such nice fabrics. She put one on over the shoulder like the Indian ladies wear it. So beautiful. She showed me one that she bought for her daughter, so beautiful, she says she doesn't want it. And she said, "oh, that's your size," and she gave me one. And everyone said this is so beautiful and she said, "take it, take it, and i said no, it's too much." And she insisted, I told her, "thank you, thank you," and i kissed her. And then we had tea with cinnamon.
I almost lost my luggage in Montreal
Coming back from New York, oh it was hectic. I was standing by the carousel at Dorval airport and all the luggages came from the States. And I checked my plane and the carousel number and it was the right one but my luggage wasn't there. So I went to the office, they sent me to the office and I was thinking Terry must be going around and around. But then I was in the office and they took my name and they said, "OK, we'll send it to you tomorrow." Then I was about to leave and there was a man there and he said, "wait a minute, is this yours?" It was my bag, so he gave it to me. So it wasn't too bad.

Drinking on the rocks
When we were in New York, Stacy took me and Roxy to some nice hotels, to the bars. We went to the Continental and the Hudson Motel. We had a drink and there were nice chocolates, Lindt, so we had chocolate. I had two. We took the box of chocolate we took it back home.
I got some nuts for Stacy from the bar, but he didn't want them, I thought he wanted nuts with his drink but he didn't so I got them for him then we threw them out. When we were in Florida I told Stacy "you mustn't drink on the rock." I meant that you shouldn't drink on an empty stomach. Then Stacy corrected me that the rock is the ice! My brother-in-law Abraham Shamash used to drink a lot but he always used to have something with it, fava beans or something, you mustn't have it all alone.

Times Square
We went out at night to Times Square, I called it Six Square, I don't know why. We passed by in the car when we drove around New York City. I liked Time Square, it was my first time there, I thought "it's a nice city, when they say this it's true - it's a nice city." It is the city that can't sleep.

In New York we went to the beach
I visited Stacy in New York and Roxy was there. We went to the beach, it was beautiful. We walked, and I made a salad. We ate our sandwiches and some fruits, the waves were very srong, but the sun was strong and nice. But the most beautiful thing, the best was Roxy and Stacy, really.

Yoga Breathing
This is how my teacher at the Y teaches us how to breathe. He says we inhale, we take a deep breath and then we exhale, we go down like this, back again, ten seconds. We were in the fresh air and I found it's a nice place to do it.

Santa Cruz

We rented a car and we went to Santa Cruz. We drove few hours along the ocean and the road was pretty and there were eucalyptus trees. We went first to the boardwalk and there was sea lions and pelicans and lots of people walking. And we were talking on the cell phone with the family, with Josh and Stacy. We had a lovely time. Lovely really. with Carlie and Justin. I was so happy to be with Carlie and Justin. Long time I didn't spend time with Justin. At the end of the day we were tired. And I found the tokens in the arcade. But i was really tired and hungry. I wanted to have a bite. So I looked in my purse I had a Powerbar. And I gave Justin a small piece and I told him "this is your share." Then later we went and I ate fish and chips and Carlie had a salad and Justin had a sandwich.

Lisa's wedding

It was a great day and we were all together at the dressing room, helping each other dressing up with our gowns and the make up artist and hairdresser and one was missing something and another need her dress shortened a little. And to fix the zipper at the back and elastic. We needed a lot of pins to fix some of the stuff that wasn't correct. Especially Lisa's dress, she had three people helping her. I felt just like in Hollywood, before they come to the red carpet sometimes they show us when they're getting ready. And they brought us sandwiches.
Everyone was telling each other: I said, "Terry does my dress look good? I don't feel the neckline is sitting properly." I was so puzzled with the V-neck. I didn't feel it looked properly.
Lisa looked very gorgeous with her makeup and her hair and her veil and we were all ready to go to the photographer. The lady that organized it told us to go to the photographer. It's a show, really. So here is a picture of Lisa. Isn't she beautiful. I am very proud of her. Of all my grandchildren, the six of them together, all of them are good looking.

All the things I do
For a grandma like me, I have so many things. I know a lot of things. I do sewing, I do knitting, I go out, I do exercise, I do everyday exercise. I cook, I bake, I go with Roxy to the park and we do the seesaw, up and down. We drink, we were sampling the wine, and we liked one. Roxy said she'd buy it, she'll come back and buy it. I don't know if she went. I watch TV also.
All the people on this blog
There have been more than 800 people that came to read my blog. Wowee! You know what's wowee? It means wolf. In Arabic we call it wowee. And in French renard. Thanks to you all that visit me and read my blog.
I read in the Gazette about this guy who was on bookface and he was complaining that he didn't have so many friends, they don't appreciate him. He doesn't get so many friends from the bookface. But he had 161 friends and all his classmates have more and he's upset about it. It's stupid, 161 is a lot of people. I think friend count of 161 is enough. Why is he complaining? He is only 17 years old.

Chocolate milk
I drink chocolate milk and I sleep. I don't know why. Sometimes I wake up and I can't go back to sleep and I make a hot chocolate and then I go back to sleep. What do you think of that? Most of the time I sleep fine. Don't worry.
Visiting Carlie
I'm going to visit Carlie in San Francisco. We'll go around. It will be a vacation. What will we do there? Looking around, fooling around, I don't know. Last time he took a me many places, very pretty places where we could see the bridge and the parks and the ocean. I love to travel. I don't worry about it. I have to pack for Toronto and for San Francisco. I'm set. I'm organized.
Francofolies
Many people from the States were here for summertime. They closed Crescent Street for the weekend, it was full full of people dancing on the streets. They call it Francofolie. Who knows what goes on downtown? Terry and I we never go.
Deal or No Deal
Howie Mandel was here for the Just for Laughs. He has this show, Deal or no Deal on the TV. My sister Doreen loves it. Once I was there visiting her in Great Neck and she said, let me watch, I love this show. I didn't get his jokes, I don't know. But it's a nice show.
They closed the Spectrum
I was reading in the Gazette that there is a place where they used to make shows and bands and they are closing it and now everybody is talking about it. The Spectrum, I think it's called. They want to use the place for something else, so the people are missing it. They're talking about when they used to go there and go to bands. It opened in 1982 until 2007.
Laundry
Sometimes I have few things to wash, the big things I give to Terry to wash. Usually just the sheets. The small things i do by hand in the sink.
I made jam
I made a jam from peach and prunes. It turned out very good. mmmm, delicious. I can bring it to Carlie when I visit him in San Francisco. It's very good when you mix them up, the best is apricot, but we didn't have apricot this year. It was a bad year in Montreal for apricot.

The Simpsons Movie
In the newspaper there was an ad, they were giving free tickets to the movie, the Simpsons movie. I think it might be a very funny, nice movie. It opened here the 27 of July. They are funny the Simpsons, sometimes I watch Homer and his wife and his children, Bart and Lisa and the baby. He has a pet pig and he had to run out of the house, there was a fire and his wife and his children ran out of the house and he went back for his pig. They were showing us a part of the movie. Carlie likes to go to movies, he goes to all the movies.
Roxy and me and Stacy in New York
Stacy was talking to me, he said he's busy, as usual. He's busy of course. He said he took some time off in New York, I told him he's lucky that he has vacation. I asked him about Roxy if she's coming to New York to meet me in New York. He said he'd convince her, but he can't catch her. She had to run. She was with a patient. She's so busy. But if she comes to New York we'll have a nice time the three of us, Roxy and Stacy and me.

The pool party was very fun

The pool party was a lot of fun. Everybody brought his food and I brought the egg patties. And the one that organized it, I think she's Egyptian, she said she loved it, everyone loved it. They had kebbah burrel and there was hot dogs in a red syrup with honey on it, they were eating them and they liked them very much. And the doorman was there, he brought a big piece of cheese.
I asked if anyone had a camera and a very nice lady from the building said, "yes, yes I'll take a picture of you, please, please stand up here and there, I'll take a picture." So here's a picture of me with everyone. I met many people that I didn't know before that live in the building. Now I see them in the elevator.
For desert there was cakes and cherries and watermelon and those Chinese fruits, the lychees. And salads. They brought many things. And a lot of wine, they brought a lot of wine.

Modern women
When I was young a woman would only sleep with her husband. But modern women try many men before they get married. I think it's up to the woman, if she feels attractive and and she's attracted to the man, she can have as many as she wants. If she wants to, then it's OK. But you have to be careful of diseases and the pill is no good, it's bad for your system. But it's acceptable these days to have many partners. Some people they like to have relationships more than average they keep going and going and it's never enough. But it's not healthy to have children late in life. Carlie should choose one nice girl, but when he's ready. But he shouldn't wait too long, he'll get old and then they won't want him.
Pool party
Tomorrow we have a pool party in the building. Pool party, you know, everyone brings his own dish and we eat by the pool. The fourth and the sixth floor they asked for something salty. And the other floors, something sweet. And they want $5 to pay the workers. I had to give them $5, I had only twenty, but they said they didn't have change, bring the money tomorrow. I made the egg patties for them and I'm going to the pool party I know all their names, the people who live in my building. They're going to participate.

Roxy is working very hard
Roxy is working very hard, believe me. The other day she called me from the train, she was already on the train at 6 in the morning. So she called me and usually I'm awake then, but that night I couldn't fall asleep, I was tossing and turning. So when she called I was asleep, and she said, "oh, go back to sleep." So I put put down the phone and I closed my eyes, but I thought it was Vera that called. When I got up I called Vera, and I said, "why did you wake me up?" but she was still sleeping so I woke her up. Then I called Terry and she was sleeping too. So it was three of us that woke up from Roxy's call.
Flamenco music
I want to download some songs of flamenco, Estrella Moriente. Or movienti, I think. And there is another one, Jose Merce. Or Mercel, I can't remember. You know after we finish the class there is this girl, I think she's Lebanese, she wanted to know the name of the song. She put it on her computer right away and she wrote it down for me and I'm going to download it. It's very hard this flamenco it takes a lot of energy, it's not like soft.

Josh played in Germany with his band.
It's so nice to speak to Josh. He's delicious. I'm so proud of him. He played in a band and they went to Germany and played in front seven thousand people. All of a sudden he's such a big boy. He's a man! He's not a boy anymore. Look at him, he travels by himself. I'm proud of all my grandchildren. I am blessed. Look at them. Look at everyone.

The days are starting to get shorter
The days are getting shorter I can already feel it. I hate it. I tell terry and she says what's the difference? She doesn't care about how long the day is. I like the sun and the heat in the summer. When the days get shorter I hate it. It's depressing. My friend Mavis hates it too, and so does Carlie. He hates it, even at his age.
Canada Day
I was with Haim at the club for Canada Day. Haim invited me, he told me to come to his and he would drive me from there. Then when I came to his house and he said come in and we ate something and he gossiped. Then he drove me to the club. I brought Haim some sandwiches with egg patties and pickled mango. And I brought him some bingo cherries. He said they were very good. It was so nice the weather was good. I played some bridge, there was a group there and we sat in the sun. Then we were tired of playing and I went downstairs and there was a group sitting there and talking. Fuad S. was there and he told me to sit there with them and Naim S. was there. They are brothers. They were telling jokes, very silly jokes. Fuad said please sit down and have something, I said "no, no, no." He said please have something, so I said OK, I'll have tea. And they ordered tea and cookies oatmeal. So I sat and ate with them and then I said thank you. Wasn't that nice of him?

Going to the club
Here in Montreal it turned colder today. Haim told me "do you want to come to the club?" because it's Canada Day, but I said no, it's too cold. But maybe I'll go tomorrow if the weather gets nicer. I don't like to go when it's cold and there's only playing cards upstairs. Tomorrow maybe I'll go and I'll miss the Y.

FĂȘte Nationale
For St-Jean Baptiste day they had the parade. It was very big, I have seen it on TV. They had people downtown more than any other parade. And there was a party right near Victoria, there is a big big park. And they made a huge big cake as big as my dining table. And they cut it and they gave everyone a piece. I never saw such a cake like this.

They had the pride parade in Toronto and other places
They had the gay pride parade in Toronto and San Francisco and other places. They were marching and celebrating and there was one man in Toronto on a bicycle wearing no clothes with his shendoul was out, naked. In Montreal they do it next month.
There were always gay people, even in Baghdad. I remember my auntie had a maid and she used to dress up like a man with a man's jacket and she used to bring her girlfriend with her to sleep with her. We used to give them a room on the side of the house. They say it's about ten percent of the people in the world are gay, and I believe that. It used to be quiet, but now people talk about it. Anyways, people are accepting it, they are more familiar with it.

A ride with Haim to Toronto
I asked Haim if we can go, Terry and I if we can get a lift in the car to Toronto for the wedding. He said he doesn't mind, but when do you want to go? I said Friday, he said yes, I want to go also on Friday. I'm going to be sharing a room with Terry, it's a big room. Have you seen it? It's a nice room with two big beds. We have a lot of time now, the wedding isn't for a few months.
Egg patties
I made patties with eggs and parsley and green onions, it's delicious. I don't put too much oil, I do it on a slow fire, it doesn't take too much oil. And I put bread crumbs and salt and pepper. It's very nice.
Some people do it, the whole thing in the pan, and it makes one big one and you flip it and it's done. Then you cut it up into small pieces. Most of the work is in chopping the parsely. Sometimes I put a potato. Yes, it's nice.

My dress for Lisa's wedding
I have a nice dress for the wedding, I'm just doing few alterations on it to make it nice for the wedding. And I'm looking forward for Lisa she's coming to Montreal to renew her driver's license. I'm going to show her the dress, it will be very nice.
I don't like Dr. Phil
Dr. Phil is really stupid. He fights with all his clients all the time.
"How come you said this and this and that to your wife? My producer told me you said this, and he said that." Oprah helped him to open up his talk show. He was her lawyer and once she said something about religion and they tried to sue her, and he helped her. Every tuesday he was on her show and now he has his own show. I don't watch that, he's really stupid. But he must be making tons of money.

A party for Paris
Paris Hilton's parents are bargaining for a hotel to make a party for when she gets out of jail. A get out of jail party. How far can these celebrities go? How spoiled can they be? But now she says she's grown up and now she's not going to act stupid anymore. She's 26 and she says she's going to change. Can you imagine such a thing? A party for getting out of jail? In Los Vegas they're going to have it.

This blog
You people who are reading this, tell me what's your opinion? Who are you? What do you think of a Grandma like this? Six grandchildren, God bless them. I should have been great grandmother, believe me. My grandchildren are of the age.
I went to the park with Roxy
When I was in Toronto I went with Roxy to the park near Vera's house, a nice park, so quiet and nice. And we rode on all the rides. I went with Roxy on the see saw and it was so low to the ground, like for children, but we rode on it. And I went on the swing and Roxy pushed me and I said "no, no, no, not so high!" Then Roxy went on the slide and she said, "Grandma, catch me!" Really, it was such a nice day.
Christina and Paris and Angelina and Diana
Christina Aguilera, she's pregnant. I heard it on Access Hollywood, they say she's pregnant. Weh aliha, she a real, I don't know. All these people Paris Hilton, I don't know who else, they are spoiled rotten. And Angelina and Bratt and the children swimming together, they children wear the same same bathing suit as the father. How many children do they have together, Angelina and Bratt? I don't know.
You know who I feel sorry for? Princess Diana. She was pretty and a princess and she had two children and they killed her. Poor thing, she was good.

Lisa is having a shower
I was talking to Lisa, I didn't get her invitation yet. She sent the out of town people a bit earlier. They have a shower now. Vera said are you coming for the shower? I said, "Vera, I came for the engagement, and I came for Alvina's bar mitzvah, and I'm coming for wedding, what does she want from me?" I think they should stop this shower business.
Maybe they'll serve a ke-baaahb for the wedding. Ke-baaahb, in a New Zealand accent.

The liquor store
I was in Toronto this weekend and I went for a walk with Roxy and we dropped in to a liquor store, the biggest liquor store in toronto. She said it was a train station, it used to be one. We drank, I don't know the names of the alcohol, but we had some samples. And it tasted very nice, it was some kind of wine, they were promoting it. Roxy said she'd buy a bottle for me. And they had cheese and crackers, I ate a few different kinds of cheese. And there was music, accordion and guitar. So they had music and cheese and wine. They had a contest also, we filled up two slips for a motorcycle, if I win it I will give it to Carlie. Terry will be upset if I give it to him. She took my email, they'll answer me with my email.
Julian
Yesterday I took a class of stretch and afterward there was a class of flamenco and the name of the teacher's name Julian and he's from Mexico I think. He says you have to think about the music. It's a floordance, you're on the floor it's not like you're flying like a ballerina, you have to listen to the music. He says you have to imagine that you're in front of the toro, and he's coming to you and you have to scare him and go away from him. I join it once in a while just for fun. After the class people say, "are staying? are you staying for the flamenco?" But I just do it just for fun. I think I'm going to take it Tuesday, and I can eat my lunch, I take it with me, before the other class. He teaches on Sunday too but I can't go on Sunday I want to join a bridge club.
Bookface
I heard yesterday big big article about bookface. A big page on the Gazette. This is where you go if you want friends, they're telling everybody it's on the computer and they're telling everybody how to get into it and how many people join everyday on it. They said some people don't want to talk about everything so you can write on the top "private." But not many people would like to be on it. In the article they say it's a good "social network." Ah, it's not bad if you read about other people. It is a kind of friends. I like it, yeah, but not everybody likes it. Terry wouldn't like it. I ask everybody, "are you on bookface? you can find me on bookface."

Alvina's bar-mitzwah
I spoke to Chaim, he's going to bring me to Toronto for the bar-mitzwah of Alvina's son. It's going to be very religious, I'm sure it's going to be the men dancing hora together separately and the women dancing separately. And he's going to read the whole thing, not just haftorah and his part. And then when the sun goes down, it's going to be very late, after 8:30, he's going to do the havdallah.
I'm going to make some sandwiches for Chaim and for Naima for the way and I'm going to bring some fruit. And some wine for Alvina also, she invited me for dinner. I'll wrap it between the sandwiches. And Roxy and Lisa and John are invited. It will be fun with them.

Poor Paris Hilton
Poor Paris Hilton, I think she will be bored. She's not used to it and she's going to find it very difficult. Though I saw her on Access Hollywood, she said she was ready and she's strong but I wonder what she will do without her phone, i think she'll be bored and she'll be tired in such a small room, she's not used to this.
Who can be in a small little room like this? She won't be like she was last night. But she shouldn't get any privilege as a celebrity.
She was so pretty on Access Hollywood. She has something, you know, she's very pretty. And her dresses. It's not that she wants to be a celebrity for nothing, she's pretty. And she loves those paparazzi always taking pictures. We'll see what happens. They'll tell us everyday what happens. It's fun, I like to see what happens.

Roxy's concert
The evening after the engagement party, the same night Roxy had a concert. The same day. Sunday was the party and at night we went to the concert. For her first time on stage I was amazed how she sang by herself and holding the microphone and she danced with it, moving the microphone back and forth. And I started the clapping at the beginning and everybody clapped with the song. What did she sing? She sang something. Vera remembers. What were the songs? And that little girl she sang Argentina. She was so cute. But about Roxy she sang "I'm Special" where she says she's going to use her arms and her legs and her fingers and her imagination. And how many musicians were behind her? There were so many, maybe twenty behind her. These people they are learning. It was all their first time.
Happy birthday to Stacy
It was Stacy's birthday on May 28, it was the day after the engagement. So he came to Montreal with Carlie and me, we took the train and we kept thinking of the ke-baaahb and laughing. Stacy went first class and he brought us cognac and wine from the first class. With his meal he ordered red wine and he drank it. And he gave me his supper to eat. It was halibut and asparagus and tomato. And I don't know, celery or something that like that. And rice and a bun. The halibut was very nice. He said he wasn't hungry. Then when he got to Montreal he invited his friends and they ate dinner together.
Lisa's engagement party at the Sutton Hotel
I was in Toronto for Lisa's engagement and I stayed at the same hotel, at the Sutton Hotel. Lisa looked beautiful and Roxy, we took pictures in the lobby. The hall was beautiful on the tenth floor, you could see the whole city, surrounded with windows, all windows. There was cocktail at the beginning and pianist in the first room. After we were chatting and seeing people we didn't see for a long time in Toronto we moved to the next room. We had buffet, very very good food, the food was delicious. I took salad and fish, lots of salad, couscous and green salad. There was pasta also and cheeses and lox, salmon and lox. And cheeses and poached eggs. And then there was bagels and danish and cream cheese. And then there was the desert table and tea and coffee. Chocolate cakes. And they had a surprise, a birthday cake for Stacy! He was surprised, he didn't expect. But I spoke with Lisa about it a few months ago. I knew about it.
Christina Aguilera
I like Christina Aguilera. She is pretty, she dresses up nicely. I saw her on Access Hollywood. I don't know, her or the other one was number one in style. Maybe it was Lindy Lohan. I think it was her.
Carlie showed me a nice show
Carlie showed me something very nice, a TV show about a funny guy from New Zealand, I really enjoyed it. We were laughing at his face and his funny accent. He bought a ke-baaahb, he said it funny like this, he bought it for his girlfriend and she didn't give him anything, he wanted something in return. He took her out, did he kiss her? Weh aliha, she was rude. She didn't give him anything, just a kiss. And his other friend, a boy, his best friend, she also went out with him. And she didn't care for them in the end. He made her macaroni. And she was blonde and pretty, but she was stupid. But they were all stupid. It's not nice to talk bad about people, but they were naive.
You who are reading this, if I see you I will buy you a ke-baaahb.

Lindy Lohan

Jerry Seinfeld is at Cannes
They are talking now about the festival in Cannes. Like Jerry Seinfeld is going there and he's playing in a bee movie, he dressed up like a bee, and flying around I think. They're talking about it on Access Hollywood. He was there, and people were asking questions, he was in a hotel. And Chris Rock is the co-star in this bee movie. I love to see their pictures, and all these actresses. Like Angelina Jolie. And all their dresses, I like to see them. Sometimes Vera calls when I'm watching, then I turn it off because they go too fast. They show you Jerry Seinfeld and the they show you Oprah, then something else. But it's nice to watch, it's different a little bit. How many shows do I have? I have Oprah, and Dancing with the Stars, and the news, mostly the news.

Lisa's engagement
Lisa called me yesterday, she's so excited, she has so many things to carry for her engagement party. She has her dress it's very heavy and she has two boxes of her invitations. She designed them herself. Everyday after school she would come home and sit on the computer and design the invitations. She says she has so many things on her mind. She's very excited. And Vera told me about the menu for the brunch.

I called Josh in Mexico
I called Josh in Mexico, he said "coma esta?" I said "bueno." He started laughing. He's really cool. So nice, good-looking, nice, he looks sharp with his hair and everything. Ezy sent me a picture. One thing he was wearing a shirt with some kind of design, maybe from his group? That was the one thing, I didn't understand it. Honestly, he's a great boy. He's the smartest between the whole family.
Oprah had a contest about the movies
On Oprah there was a contest about movies, choosing somebody. They chose this girl she was serving cones of ice cream and they told her you are the one, they chose her and she was so happy jumping around. They were surprised, all this talking. Blah blah blah.
Belly dancing
I went to the Y to do belly dancing. This is the only class I could choose. The classes before they had more choice, but now they don't have nice choice. Body blast and Fusion. But the teachers are not the same. Belly dancing was nice though, I like this one.
The bees
I heard that the bees are disappearing, why? There was an article in the Gazette that they are disappearing. The bees are very important, and they don't know why. A lot of things are disappearing, animals, and they don't know why. And the global warming.
Jerry Garcia's guitar
They were selling Jerry Garcia's memorabilia. They sold one of his guitars for 12,000. One guitar. Imagine. It went in the auction. I don't if it's worth it. maybe they think it's going to be worth more later. I was surprised, I was thinking what kind of a guitar is this?
American streamline exhibiton
I went to the museum to an exhibition, American streamline design from the '30s until now. I saw a radio that I used to have, but black and smaller. Sarlie has it now upstairs in the big room. They had them and a vacuum cleaner Electrolux a very old one, but like new. And an electric iron, planes, I don't know. Things for recreation. They had a lecture and they show you one by one. It was very cool.

Mother's day at the club.
I went with Terry to the club for mother's day, and Haim was there too. It's not like before. The boat people are much more than the Iraqis, the ones that have the sailing boat. The food was good, there was cheeses, and salmon, salad, eggs, all this stuff, they would make you omelette if you want it. The salmon was good, it was baked, small pieces, vegetables and tea and coffee and cake.
We were sitting eating, we were on the table and Stacy called. He spoke to me, he said happy mother's day and he spoke to Terry. And vera also called, she was having picnic with Roxy and John in Toronto.
Then on the way home Terry drove on the local side, on the lake, she doesn't like the highway. It's a nice drive but much longer. On the way back, I was full, she was full, and we were driving slowly slowly, and it was hot in the car. i was worried she was going to fall asleep. I said, "Terry, don't sleep."

Oprah had pallabolis
Oprah showed us yesterday this guy, he has a show, it’s not acrobatic it’s called something I can’t remember, I think it's called pallabolis. If anyone knows the name please tell me. The show is so different. He has dancers very nice dancers and they get together and they make a shape. They make a tree. They’re very cute, very small. And they made Oprah. O-P-R-A-H. She was amazed. What a performance! They set themselves as a dog, with a tail that’s waggling. And the tree was the most beautiful. And it reminded me exactly of the pyramid we used to do at Rosh Hashanna. You tell them a shape and the run on top of each other, these body dancers.
Are you going to vote for the petition for Paris Hilton?
Paris Hilton, the poor thing, they’re putting her in jail. Everyday she’s in the news, more and more, Paris Hilton. They interviewed her mother, they said, “aren’t you embarrassed?” I saw it in the news, on Access Hollywood. I watch Access Hollywood everyday. I want to see those big people and their dresses and their kids and what they do. Bratt and Angelina Jolie.
The nude people in Mexico
There is that guy that’s taking pictures of nude people in Mexico,
thousands and thousands of people. Every year he takes a picture,
you should see these people lying on the ground and naked thouhsands and thousands. He did it once in Montreal, but this time he did it in Mexico. It was in the paper. Who would do such thing? I like to see the picture. Why not? I wouldn’t volunteer but I would like to see such a picture.

Riana is a very nice girl
I see Riana from time to time, she is nice, I think she is a very nice girl. She grew up very nice children. She's a good mother I noticed that. Not like she wants to fool around or be free, she treats them very nice. She comes to the Y for jazz dance. She always asks about Carlie, about Stacy, about Terry, and Harvey. She says, "how is Carlie, how is Stacy." She is a good friend of Kathy.
More flamingo dancing
They added this class at the Y, the flamingo dancing and I went today. But you have to be strong, to imagine that you're fighting with the bull. This is how they dance. You go this way and that way, and you open your legs and you do this, do that. But it's good exercise, you need to warm up before, it's very good. But it's difficult. He shows us the moves and we do it again and again. And you know he claps with his hand, chucka chucka chucka. He is Mexican, the instructor. Maybe I go once a week, once every two weeks. Why not? If I have time I go.
Trip to Ottawa
They're organizing a trip to Ottawa, the sisterhood at the Spanish. It's $35 and they take you to Ottawa and they show you the tulips, then they take you to the museum of science or something, then they give you a big lunch at the Rideau Hall, the place where the Governor General stays or something, it must be a nice place. Then they take you to the casino and they give you ten dollars to play. I might go, if there is a nice crowd and I know the people going.
Haim invites me to the club
Haim invited me and Terry to the club for brunch. I used to go all the time. But now I go only when Haim invites me. I can be a member, but going and coming is difficult, I live far. But I go to Haim, I drive to Haim and I leave my car there, then he drives me to the club, and then when we come back to his house, I have my car there and I drive back to my house.
I got a card from Ezy
I got a card from Ezy for Mother’s Day, and he sent me pictures of Josh at his birthday blowing the candles, and another from Justin blowing the candles on his birthday, and another one of the cat on the blankets.
Carlie knows all the movies
Carlie knows all the movies, and I don't know anybody in the family that knows all the movies like him. No one else cares about movies.

French literature
When I was in Baghdad, the school was Alliance Israelite. In this school I learned some french, some english, a little bit, but mostly in arabic. My grandfather taught me a little bit hebrew, like for passover, haggadah, what we read, things like that. So then when I moved to Iran, I wasn't married, so I went to the American school, it was in english, and I liked the french language, so I went to the convent to learn, it was the only place. There were only two Jewish students. We learned french there. But they didn't mind that we didn't say their prayers, they respected that. But most of my french I learned from there, a little bit of science, geography, algebra, and literature, we read Maurice Dumas. There was a very nice lady, a nun, so beautiful, not blonde but so beautiful. Her name was Marie-Joseph. We used to say what a shame she became a nun, praying and praying. She taught us literature. I went one year and the next year I got married. I was sad, I wanted to stay. And the next year Terry came.
Meg
I went to the Y for aqua fitness yesterday, but Meg wasn't there. I go because I like her, she's Irish, and very, very beautiful, in her thirties, so beautiful. But she wasn't there. I asked, and they told me that she went to take a job as a stewardess. I believe it she was is beautiful and nice, and well spoken. But I went to see her and she's not there anymore.
Tim Horton and Starbuck
I went for a walk, I went downtown, looking in the stores here and there, so I went to Tim Horton. I took a tea and cookie, chocolate and peanut butter, it was delicious. It was my first time, I never go to these places. I just wanted to walk and look in the stores, walking and walking and walking. I wanted to see how is business. And there was Starbuck across the street and I went there too to see how is business. There were ten people. But at Tim Horton there was many people, with a line outside the store.
Box with nuts and dates
Today I dressed up in the morning, I fixed my hair, then I dropped something at Terry's, a small box for candies. Terry wanted to fill it up with cashew nuts and dates, she's going to a friend of hers, another real estate agent over for dinner. I said take one of these nice plastic boxes, transparent, plain, put some nice cashew nuts and give it. She said, "but I don't have one, do you have it?" Yes, I had one, so I gave it to her, then I went to the Spanish for shabbat.

Paris Hilton is going to jail
Paris Hilton went to jail, she was drunk driving. Abuel aleihem. Her and Britney Spears. It's the money that spoils them. They pay them too much. In hollywood, with the photographers and the reporters. This is America. Typical America. You don't see this in Europe. Look at Britney. She shaved her hair, she was in rehab, and with her children in the car and drinking and driving. Then she shaved her hair, she became crazy. They're out of their mind. Between the reporters and the photographers and the money, they lose their mind. Paris Hilton when she started she was good. Now she's a slut. They don't know anymore, their life is different. She probably won't go for long. Why? Because she's wealthy. I don't know what to say. I watch sometimes Access Hollywood, but sometimes it's too noisy, blah blah blah blah blah. So I turn it off.

Expo 67
So today it has been 40 years since we had Expo in Montreal. It’s all over the news here, in the Gazette and on the TV. Those days it was so nice, there was so much love between everyone, the French and the English. And this Mayor Drapeau he opened the expo and the metro on the same day, and people started taking the metro around. We were talking, memories, Ezy worked there and Vera worked there. Vera used to work in a souvenir shop, I think she worked in two places. And Ezy took a job, we used to make fun of him. He was supervising the people that were cleaning the bathrooms, we made so much fun of him.
There were 110 pavilions and 50 million people came. It was so nice. The Iranian pavilion, you felt like you were in Iran, and the American pavilion, and the technology pavilion and Grandpa would look and be amazed at the new things that they were just started. Jackie Kennedy came and visited, and they made so much fuss for them, with people visiting and in the uniforms, it was very nice. It was like heaven, we used to go there every evening. The only thing that used to bother us was the line up, there were so many people, we used get tired after visiting just a few pavilions. The people that grew up after that and didn’t see it, they really missed something.

Carlie’s had enough fun.
He’s had enough fun. Fooling around enough. He should settle with one of the girlfriends. One that he likes, a good one, one that’s nice. I’m hoping for Roxy also. She’s working very hard, she likes her job. She’s going to Ottawa for an exam or something. But whenever she’s ready.
I just came back from the Y
It was good, we did like gymnastic, something with the waist something with the elastic to stretch your arms. There is this kind of elastic that has a handle on each side and you pull it back and forth back and forth and it stretches, to build your muscles. I used to shovel the snow off the roof of my old house, but I don’t do it any more. I could still do it, but I don’t have a roof anymore because now I live in an apartment. But I’m still strong enough to shovel the snow. Terry does it herself, but I tell I can do it for her. I’m very strong.

Alterations
Today I'm making alterations on some black corduroy pants very thin very nice black ones they feel like velvet. I'm very good at alterations. I'm making them to wear at the Y. They have a bell at the bottom, but I don't like that.
Carlie is straightforward
My grandson Carlie doesn't make excuses or tell lies. Sometimes I think I should call him, and tell him what's new. But he always calls me. He keeps in touch with everybody.
Flamingo dancing
At the Y they also have flamingo dancing. There is flamingo dancing. I have never been, but I want to try it this week. After the class of yoga I see them doing the flamingo dancing. It looks very nice. I want to try it.
Lunch bunch
I do the yoga sometimes at the Y, once in a while when there is no other class. And I do the "lunch bunch," I don't why they call it that. I think it's because people come during their lunch break. First we do stretching, then we walk around the track. Then running and running and running. And then there is weights. Then we lie down on the mats and we do the stretching and that the end of the hour.
Cholent
These Ashkenazi people they make something that is like t'beet, Carlie told me they call it "cholent." And they have peas and carrots and meat in it. And it's old, from the day before. They cook it all day. At the very religious synagogue they serve it with meat and without meat. Sometimes they put like little hot dogs in it. It's nice, it's hot and tasty, but it's too rich for me. Too much fat.
Vera and Roxy went to the bellydancing
They had a belly dancing show in Toronto. When Vera was here, Sandra, my belly dancing teacher told her about it. She said she has a show, a group of belly dancers, and they're selling tickets. So last night Vera went with Roxy. But it was three hours, that's too long for me. Once they did it here, but it was in a restaurant and they gave them dinner and it was nice and there was belly dancing. But this time it was in a theater in the university and it was a boring place. Three hours is too long. you see the same movement over and over. everyone takes their turn. But they said it was good, Roxy and Vera.

They had the antique show at Cavendish.
Today they had the big antique show at Cavendish, about 50-60 dealers, they have it every year. I went with Fairy, they have all kinds of antique things, cups and saucers and silver things and all antiques. We sold many things. Fairy brought many things and they were appraised and she sold a small little ring, tiny tiny little ring. Things junk like this.
And I had a ring that I didn't like and it has a little bit of diamond, and I appraised it from one place to another place. One place she said I'll give you $100. It was really cheap, just a quarter of a karat. And three of them told me it was chipped. Then she said, no, I'm not interested in it. And the she OK, I'll give you a hundred. Then I went to the next one, he told me, I'll give $300. So I went off to Shirley, we know her for many years, she's very nice, and she said I would sell it. And I went back to the guy and I said $350. And he looked and he looked and he said I don't know, it's chipped. Then finally he said, ok, I'll give you $350.

There is a new rabbi at the Spanish.
There is a new rabbi at the Spanish and Portuguese. Rabbi Joseph left, and there is a young guy who is replacing him. I like him VERY much. He is very nice, and young, he comes from the States, I have no idea where. He is bald, completely. And he is younger than Carlie. And he has a beard. He is Ashkenazi and we are a little bit different. He says he loves it here. He loves the Sephardi service with Abitan, the cantor. But yesterday when he said kiddush, he said "borai pri ha gaphen." And they corrected him, they said, "we say 'gephen.'" I don't care though. I asked Anwar, what difference does it make? He said, "nothing."

Vera is visiting me for Pesah
The other day I took Vera to the museum for Walt Disney. It's a show about his creation, the cartoons, Fantasia, Cinderella, Snow White. All this stuff like we saw it on TV. And Vera said she grew up with this stuff, she liked it. And we saw a show about Maurice Denis, an artist from the 18th century. So nice, I liked it so much. He lived in Paris. Such nice paintings of naked women and self-portraits and all kinds of things. And Vera liked it too.
And we went to Holt Renfrew, it was so expensive, you pay so much money for a dress and you don't like it. Fairy told me go to Ogilvy. It's better.

Hag sameach
This year the seder was just us and Yacoob and Vera. And Yacoob read and read and read and read. We had a very nice dinner, t'beet, and ingri, and umhasha, and charoset with seylan from Israel. They sell it here, the date syrup. But it wasn't a hosa because my grandchildren weren't there.
Haim was here last night, I invited him for shabbath. Fairy brought Harvey, he's doing well. Haim said he did the seder with Alvina and one with Sollie. With Alvina they went until past midnight. Alvina is very religious.

There's a giladje in my building
Every time I came into the building he bothers me. "Oh hello," he says, "How are you Mrs. R_______. It's so nice to see you. Can I help you with your bag?" I tell him, "no, I can take it myself!" I just want to go upstairs to my apartment, and he keeps me downstairs talking and talking. Umph. Abuel.
